Chris DiVecchio has just completed his leading role in the latest featured action thriller, Wolf Moon (formerly Dark Moon Rising), directed by Dana Mennie. Lionsgate in association with Grindstone Entertainment and Lightning Strikes Productions, signed the rights to the domestic distribution and will be premiering the film in the Summer of 2010. On television, Divecchio co-starred on many hit shows such as Alias, Law and Order, Girls Behaving Badly, and recently featured as guest star in the 100th episode of The Ghost Whisper, directed by Jennifer Love Hewitt. DiVecchio has also signed on to Mennie’s next feature film as the lead role for LIDO, a father-son drama where the character LIDO avenges the unlawful death of his father. This project is scheduled to begin principle photography in the fall of 2010. Right now DiVecchio is busy working and developing himself for upcoming projects and conditioning his body, mind, and soul.

Born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, DiVecchio has always seen himself as a natural performer. From the hockey rinks, to his body building career, to fitness modeling, to high school and college variety shows, DiVecchio was initially conflicted to pursue acting due to “the pressure I felt to continue on an athletic path.” DiVecchio attended Prep School at Vermont Academy which lead him to Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut on a hockey scholarship where he went on to receive a Bachelor of Science degree in 1999. Surprisingly, it was at the end of his senior year and after a few trips to The Big Apple for some modeling and commercial jobs when he finally acknowledged his true aspiration to pursue acting. His participation in various high school/college theatre productions as well as several classes gave DiVecchio his start and he hasn’t looked back since. In 2001, after a small stint in the white collar world, DiVecchio relocated to Los Angeles and began studying his craft with the esteemed Susan Batson and her son, Carl Ford, who have worked with talents such as Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Lopez, Kate Beckinsale and Sean Combs to name a few.

DiVecchio states, "It's important to have a strong team behind you with all the same goals and visions". With his acting coach in place, DiVecchio added Manager Patch MacKenzie of Cutler Management a little over a year ago. Together they teamed up in pursuit of the "perfect agency" and recently signed with Katie Floyd of Lewis & Beal Talent Agency.

DiVecchio proclaims that strong networking skills have played a huge role in his present success; however, his commitment and dedication to honing his craft and staying focused has been the nucleus for creating his opportunities. In his leisure time, DiVecchio enjoys spending time with his friends and family, and of course his beloved dog, Charley. Residing in Manhattan Beach, CA, DiVecchio also enjoys surfing, volleyball and long walks on the beach. He has chosen to trade in the skates for scripts until the next "Miracle on Ice".
